Student SpotlightsCongratulations to Gillian Colbourne, 1st year student in the MA in Counseling Psychology Program, who was nominated by the staff at the STARR program from Community Care Services for the “Star of the Year” award for her work as a first year intern in that agency. MSPP congratulates two third-year School Psychology students, Kate McGravey and Jaclyn Kinsman,who were selected to present their paper, entitled Creating Capacity, Promoting Competence: Interventions for LGBTQ Youth at the NASP 2010 Convention. MSPP congratulates Nicole I. Issa, Clincial PsyD student, who's poster submission titled Body Image Satisfaction in Heterosexual and Lesbian Individuals was accepted for presentation at the 2010 meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association, March 4-7, 2010, in Brooklyn, NY.
