FOr Entering StudentsMessage From the Director of Field EducationCongratulations to each of our admitted students. We welcome you to our community of dedicated students, faculty and staff who will be your peers, mentors and supporters as you undertake your graduate program of study this fall. MSPP believes in providing a broad range of high quality psychological services. Our students engage in clinical practice beginning in their first semester in well supervised field placements. For students in the counseling and clinical psychology pdepartments the search for initial placements begins with the submission of your deposit. (Students from the school psychology department and from the organizational and leadership psychology departmentwill be on a different schedule and will work directly with their departments.) For the counseling and clinical psychology students, once your deposit is received, we will contact you to begin the process. As with each of our graduate programs, the site selection process is personalized and designed to best recognize and respect your past academic and professional experiences as well as your present interests and aspirations. Through submission of answers to questions, and creation of resumes and cover letters, we work with you to create a list of sites for your application and support you through the process of choosing a placement for fall.
