Michael S. Jellinek, MD
Dr. Jellinek, a Professor of Psychiatry and of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, was Chief Clinical Officer, Partners HealthCare (2012-2014) and President, Newton-Wellesley Hospital (2001-2012). Chief of Child Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital for 32 years from 1979-2012, Dr. Jellinek has written or co-written over 300 original reports, articles and chapters. He co-developed the Pediatric Symptom Checklist, the most widely used brief screening instrument used by pediatricians to identify children with emotional problems. Available for free in over 20 languages, the PSC has helped to identify many thousands of children in need of mental health services.
