MSPP Alumni Association
Welcome Message from the Director of Alumni Relations
Welcome! On the threshold of the 40th anniversary of the founding of MSPP and on behalf of the nearly 1,700 alumni living and working all over the world, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the new MSPP Alumni Association. The association exists exclusively to help you forge and maintain lifelong ties to current and future alumni and to the faculty and the many resources at MSPP. Whether you walked across the graduation stage recently or if that memory is somewhat distant, you are what has made and what continues to make MSPP extraordinary. You and your chosen career reflect MSPP's mission, values and commitment to excellence.
Beyond enabling you to stay connected to all those who have graduated from MSPP, the Alumni Association offers you access to library services, seminars and symposia, web sites, CE events, social media and a burgeoning variety of "stay connected" programs. Your attached Alumni Membership Card is your personal passport to lifetime career services, professional networking and support, various discounts, and more. Click here for a complete list of your alumni benefits.
We hope you will want to participate actively in the MSPP Alumni Association, including offering encouragement and sage advice to current students, mentoring early career professionals, provide consultations and/or network with other alumni, and be involved in admissions referrals and/or informational interviews. We want to include you in supporting our unique training and service initiatives and invite you to introduce us to people and resources who share our mission. We are eager to have you contribute to our institutional growth and strength however you can.
In my new role as Director of Alumni Relations I have had the extraordinary experience of talking with many alums and learning about where their personal and professional journeys have taken them. This has been a rare privilege and I invite you to contact me directly to share your MSPP story, offer your ideas, and let me know how you'd like to be involved with your alma mater.
I wish you continued success and hope to hear from you soon!
Alan Beck, PhD
