Admissions Process—Selection of Candidates
The completed application packets are thoroughly reviewed by appointed members of the faculty to make a decision as to whether or not the applicant will be granted an interview. Each piece of the application is an important piece of this process. Though we do not have cut-off scores, we generally look for a combined score of 1150 or above on the Verbal and Quantitative Sections of the General GRE and at least 4.0 on the Analytical Writing Section, a 110 on the internet-based TOEFL and 3.0 or above for a GPA. If your scores are lower than these numbers, make sure to qualify the reasons for this in your application. The written components of your application are also vital for this evaluation.
