This course is designed to both integrate previous training and teach advanced skills in assessment, formulation treatment planning and therapeutic technique in clinical work with children, adolescents and their families. Instruction/discussion will build on previous foundational knowledge and skills in cognitive and personality assessment, development theory, diagnostic conceptualization and therapeutic interventions. The goal is to “put it all together” in terms of actual clinical practice (“what do I do/say now”) and participants will be expected to share some of their own clinical experience and/or material.
