The 21st century requires individuals, groups, communities, and organizations to respond to the rapid changes and ever increasing complexity facing society. The MSPP PsyD program in Leadership Psychology prepares you to deploy yourself within for profit, nonprofit, government, and education settings to create constructive social change. This means going beyond technical solutions to find adaptive means of change that address not only the structural issues of an organization, but also the values, cultures, and beliefs held within such frame works.
The PsyD in Leadership Psychology supports leaders, promotes followers, and provides models of how to lead change for the 21st century. Leaders from all levels and sectors of society are needed to address the increasing complexity in today's world. You will be trained in analytics, management, psychology and leadership. Drawing from theories in learning, positive psychology, sociology, adaptive leadership, and followership, a small annual cohort from across the United States and around the world add their personal and professional experience towards creating change.
All of the programs at MSPP combine academic knowledge and professional experience. The programs emphasize practical work through a field placement.
