Reflections on Black History Month

"Black history month.... The shortest month of the year. I appreciate the acknowledgment of Black history today when in my childhood Black history was absent. I wish for a time when Black History is not saved for one month, it is ingrained in throughout history books as the American story of freedom, liberty, equality and the pursuit of happiness."
