Nelupa Sulani Perera, PhD

Sulani Perera, PhD earned her BA in Psychology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN and her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Perera completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System and she is currently completing her postdoctoral fellowship in PTSD at the Boston VA Healthcare System. Her clinical interests focus on trauma exposure and related symptoms, culturally informed interventions, and culturally diverse clinical populations. Her research interests center on trauma exposure and related mental health concerns in racial and ethnic minority refugees, immigrants, and college students.
