Dannielle Kennedy, PhD
Dannielle Kennedy, Ph.D., is a principal of Nautilus Consulting Group, a firm that specializes in using management and behavioral sciences to help clients translate strategy into effective action; align strategy with organizational resources; leverage hidden assets and knowledge; link people with processes; and create feedback systems that accelerate learning. Nautilus draws on a systems perspective to understand the underlying, interconnected factors that shape outcomes in complex organizations.
Dr. Kennedy consults with businesses, institutions, and organizations on leadership development and management issues including change management, strategy implementation, partnership and team effectiveness, and conflict resolution. She serves on the faculty of the Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching Program at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in Boston where she teaches the course on Organization Development. As an adjunct faculty member at Simmons College and guest lecturer at Harvard, Smith, and the Cambridge Center for Creative Enterprise she has taught leadership, executive coaching, organizational theory and consultation, post-merger integration, research methods, and group dynamics. For several years she served on the Case Series Editorial Board of the Family Firm Institute.
Dr. Kennedy is a Past-president of the Board of Directors of the Boston Center of the A.K. Rice Institute and has directed conferences designed to study authority and leadership in the Tavistock tradition. Prior to joining Nautilus, Dr. Kennedy worked as a senior consultant at KRW International, an executive development boutique.
Dr. Kennedy holds a Ph.D. from Simmons College and is a graduate of the Advanced Studies in Organizational Development Program at the Boston Institute of Psychotherapy.
