Nick S. Johnson, PsyD
Nick Johnson graduated from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and now teaches two sections of the research methods course there. When not at MSPP, he works at a private practice in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, doing outpatient therapy in the community. He specializes in adult anxiety and depression, if one could call that a specialization. He also works in West Warwick and Providence, RI, doing outpatient psychological testing for people of all ages and disabilities. His doctoral research concerned therapist memory bias, and he has a particular interest in the fallibility of therapists’ memories and decision-making. He also has professional and scientific interests in narrative therapy, CBT, theoretical integration and the relationship of science to practice and pedagogy.
